Language and Culture

The Internet site “Language and Culture” is dedicated to the connection of language and culture clearly displayed in literature, cinematography, rhetoric, etc.

The most articles have been written in Russian and addressed to teachers, advanced students and all people interested in Russian language and culture. That is why the site contains sections dedicated to teaching Russian language and travelling.

Me as a Russian Language Teacher

The small section written in English is about me as a teacher and about teaching Russian as a foreign language. Later on this section will be extended further as a resource assisting foreign students and their teachers in studying and teaching Russian language.

Аdditional information about me as a teacher and linguist can also be read in Russian.

Hi-Am interested in brushing up on my Russian language knowledge-which more or less ceased around age 15yrs–Its on my bucket list to travel to Russia b4 it’s too late-have many relations over there I believe-
My father came here from Harbin late 1940’s-but alas I am disconnected from him!
I live near Byron Bay-hoping you might know someone down this way I could approach for lessons as Brisbane is a 2 hr drive from here–not to mention feul costs. Any suggestions greatly appreciated—
    kindest regards Nicholas.

      Hi Nicholas,
      Sorry for the late reply!
Have not checked my website for a while.
Do you prefer face-to-face lessons or Skype lessons are suitable as well?
      Thanks,
      Olesya
